As first light came I had better views and some cold
sunshine in the distance. I was away by 9am and took a photo of
Drinkwaters ruins in the first sunshine.
The sun came out as I started to pack up.

Part way along the track I took a photo looking into the
plantation of trees where I had my first wild camp with school
friends around 1962. I took it very carefully descending to
Coppice Stile ruins as there was a lot of slippery ground and
holes under the rough ground.

A low sun emerged illuminating the colours on the moorland. Once
down into White Coppice I could get rid of my rubbish in the bin
then and easy walk home along the road.
