I was away early as I had a train to catch, the 07:41am. It was still dark but my high intensity lamp made it easy cycling. During my January ride I cycled along the busy A1. This time I managed to find the cycle track by the cement works. Some parts were very muddy but that was better than the A1. I reached the Dunbar Railway Station in plenty of time to catch the train to Edinburgh. The sun came out for a while but when I reached Preston at mid-day the rain was torrential all the way home.
