| I drove to the Foss Mine entrance road and parked across in a small lay bye. The last time I was here I walked to Farragon Hill but today there was no need as the summit of Tairneachan would give me a reasonable view of Schiehallion from the east. |

| It was an easy walk but very windy on the summit. Back at the car I was a couple of vehicles at the mine entrance compound. I asked one of the men about the possibility of visiting the mine and he said the public weren’t normally given tours but he gave me an email address. When I got home I sent an email but didn't get a reply. |
