Drive to Cross Hall Chorley then walk via the old Chorley
Waterworks and up lane to White House farm. Across wet fields to
track and west stone cover to access shaft on water supply
tunnel. Took some drone photos then moved to east shaft cap to
take more photos. Manhole lid on east cap missing. The east to
Heapey Fold Lane to Charnock Back Lane to access track to
Bibby’s Farm and Scout camp area. Then footbridge over M61 and
footpath north by motorway back to Cross Hall Ln.
